Delaware Valley Raptor Center Visit

Have you ever wanted to see a hawk, eagle, falcon, or owl? What if you got to see all these magnificent birds up close and in person? You can at the library this summer!

Come to meet five raptors and learn about how they hunt and adapt and how the Center rescues and heals injured birds like these so they can reenter the wild. Don’t miss this spectacular raptor experience on Thursday, July 12th at 7 pm.

Journey to the center of the earth with the Morris Museum on Friday, July 13 at 1 pm!

Explore the historical geology of the earth, and how natural processes impact our planet through volcanic activity, erosion, and weathering. Then learn about the three groups of rocks and examine fossils, geodes, and stones specific to New Jersey.

Using musical instruments made from trash and other repurposed material, this concert will be full of fabulous music and science fun on Saturday, July 21st at 11 am. Then stay for the Make-and-Take session so you can learn how to build your own instrument from recycled material after the show!
