Summer Reading Kick-off: Eyes of the Wild Virtual Visit!

Virtually kick-off the summer with us and our animal friends at Eyes of the Wild!

We are excited to be treated to a virtual visit with the following animals: a veiled chameleon, a blue and gold macaw, a wallaby, a hedgehog, and an Australian sugar glider.

Include in your registration a question you might want to ask about the animals or email a question to Ms. Kate. Then use the forthcoming ZOOM meeting details to tune in on Monday, June 29th at 4 pm!

Best for families and ages 4 and up but all ages welcome. Please register by clicking here.

These will continue to be accessible in their own playlist on our YouTube channel, Riverdale Public Library - Youth Serviceshere at 10 am every Monday morning thru Summer Reading!

No registration necessary.

ZOOM Craft & Catch-up with Ms. Kate + To-Go Craft Kits!

School-aged craft kits will be handed out at the library to those who register ahead of time. By registering you will also get the password to tune in to a crafting and catch up ZOOM session with Ms. Kate on Thursdays at 4 pm. (The meeting ID will already be provided in each kit.)

Please do not return any material from these kits - everything will be yours to keep. Some supplies, e.g. glue and markers, will not be provided.

For weeks there are no craft kits, alternate virtual offerings will be available to those who register for them.

Dragons & Unicorns Stuffed Animal Workshop!

This program is full. Thank you!

Stuff your own dragon or unicorn this summer!

Pick up your workshop kit, including stuffing, a dragon or unicorn, certificate, and wishing star, starting Monday, July 27th. Then tune in for a readaloud on Thursday, July 30th at 4 pm with Ms. Kate.

Either stuff your friend ahead of time and bring him/her along or wait to stuff your friend until after the virtual readaloud.

Please register here - we only have so many stuffed friends and you'll need the password for the ZOOM readaloud (the meeting ID will already be provided in each kit.)
