Thousands of downloadable books of all types for everyone!  Fiction, non-fiction, young adult and children’s books.

PC, Mac, Burn to PC, WMA, iPod, MP3 are all supported, though not by every book.   Books are good for 10 days and can be renewed if necessary. If the book you want isn’t available, you can place a hold.

The service is provided by OverDrive under an arrangement with the Highlands Regional Library Cooperative.  The ListenNJ website provides directions for how to proceed.

On your first visit, this is what you need to get started:

·    Your library card barcode number

·    Your 4-digit library card PIN (if you don’t know what it is, request it on your next visit to the library.  For security reasons we cannot provide a PIN over the phone.)

·    Log on to  ListenNJ

·    Go to “Account” and enter the information requested:  (Select Morris Automated Information Network – MAIN)

·    Select the books you want for your cart and begin the check out process.  (Note:  If the book does not offer the option of adding it to your cart, it is not available, but you can place a hold.)

·    At this point, the system asks you to download the OverDrive Media Console software.  You may also need to run a security upgrade for your Windows Media Player.  The site will lead you through both actions.

·    Complete checkout.

·    Download the book and listen.
