Board of TrusteesThe Riverdale Public Library is governed by its Board of Trustees. The Trustees are responsible for setting overall policy and for overseeing the finances of the Library. Specific responsibilities of the Board are to:

The Board of Trustees meets the second Monday of each month except where noted. Meetings start at 7:00 pm at the library and are open to the public. Minutes are available upon request with a fee of $15 per copy. Meetings in 2010 are scheduled as follows:

Morris Automated Information Network, Inc. (M.A.I.N.)The Riverdale Public Library is a member of MAIN which is composed of 37 public libraries in Morris County. Each library is separate and independent and is supported by its own community. However, the libraries share the network and circulation system supported by MAIN. In addition, the libraries combine to purchase special online resources. Each MAIN library also shares its resources with other MAIN libraries. |
