Witchcraft Craze – Wednesday, October 25, 7 p.m. Presenter: Deborah Hoeflinger
During the 1600 and 1700s, at least 110,000 people in Europe were accused of being witches. 60,000 were executed including several in the American colony of Massachusetts. In this program we will explore what caused the craze, which people were accused and why it eventually died out.
