FAQs

  • Food and drinks are not permitted in most areas of the Riverdale Public Library. The only exceptions are:

    ●     Meeting Rooms during scheduled activities

    ●     Other areas specifically designated by the Board of Trustees

    Please note: Food and drinks of any kind, including water, are strictly prohibited in the Local History Room.

  • ‍The Riverdale Public Library welcomes service animals that are individually trained to perform tasks or work for individuals with disabilities, in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

  • Yes! Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the library, and no password is required.

  • Yes. Credit cards are accepted for payments over $5.00.

  • Patrons may have up to 100 items checked out at a time.

  • Yes. Our meeting rooms are available to Riverdale-based non-profit groups and businesses during regular library hours when the rooms are not in use for library programs.

    Groups must complete an application and comply with the library’s policies, fees, rules, and insurance requirements.
