Our Technology Assistance program helps patrons of all ages and skill levels get comfortable with devices, software, and online services. Services include one-on-one help with smartphones and tablets, setting up and using email, navigating e-readers and library apps, basic computer skills, printing and scanning, accessing online resources (databases, digital magazines, streaming), and guidance on internet safety and privacy. Sessions are patient, confidential, and tailored to your needs; staff and trained volunteers provide clear, step‑by‑step instruction and leave you with practical next steps and resources to build confidence.

How to schedule a session

Briefly describe the device or topic you need help with (for example: iPhone, Chromebook, setting up library e-books, printing from home).
Choose preferred days and times. If you have a tight schedule, list multiple options to help staff accommodate you.

What to expect after you submit
A staff member will contact you to confirm the appointment and may ask additional questions to prepare.
Sessions generally last 30–60 minutes; longer appointments can sometimes be arranged if needed.
Bring your device, any necessary passwords, and accessories (charger, cables).
If you need to cancel or reschedule, notify us as soon as possible so the slot can be offered to other patrons.
